Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as an Intake Specialist. The Intake Specialist will be responsible for handling incoming calls, taking patient payments, patient payment plan agreements, Medical eligibility, gathering necessary information, and assisting with various tasks. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a background in health plans and/or medical billing.

Responsibilities:
- Answer incoming calls- patient payments/payment plans
- Patient eligibility
- Enter patient demographic accurately into the system
- Assist with administrative tasks such as scanning and organizing documents
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth workflow

Requirements:

-English and Spanish (Bilingual)
- How to navigate a computer properly- excel, word, billing software
- Medical eligibility through Availity and Health Plan Portals
- Excellent phone etiquette and strong communication skills
- Understand deductible and co-insurance
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively
