Complete Healthcare is Hiring an Assistant Medical Director of Opioid Treatment Program Near Marion, OH

Complete Healthcare is a full-service medical practice that offers addiction services as part of our licensed Opioid Treatment Program.

As a member of the treatment team, the Assistant Medical Director collaborates with the Medical Director and other practitioners to provide direct patient care. It is ensured that all services comply with internal and external standards established by regulatory agencies.Complete Healthcare is a comprehensive medical practice, providing addiction services as part of our licensed Opioid Treatment Program.

Compensation commensurate with experience.

Primary Responsibilities.

  • Evaluate and manage patients with opioid use disorder in an outpatient setting.
  • Prescribe appropriate medications and treatments as indicated.
  • Medication induction and dosing determinations.
  • Coordinate care with other physicians, providers, and hospitals when appropriate.
  • Perform primary care services
  • Record complete, timely and legible documentation within patient medical records.
  • Assist in maintaining compliance with all applicable Opioid treatment Program laws and regulations.

Essential Skills and Abilities.

  • Knowledge of the Opioid Treatment Program laws and regulations consistent with The United States Department of Health and Human Services, United States Drug Enforcement Administration, and the laws and rules of The State of Ohio.
  • Ability to analyze reports, test results, medical records, and examinations to accurately diagnose patients and advise necessary treatment options.
  • Prescribe medications and identify treatment regimens for identified and documented medical conditions with knowledge of medications and potential side effects.
  • Adherence to policies, procedures and objectives, confidentiality regulations, ongoing quality improvement objectives and safety, environmental, and infection control standards.

Minimum Qualifications.

  • Licensed Physician in the state of Ohio.
  • Current Addiction Medicine Certification.
  • Current DEA licensure.

Expected hours: No less than 12 per week
