Job Description:

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Civil Engineering Professional Engineer (PE) to join our team. As a key member of our engineering department, the Civil Engineering PE will lead and manage projects from conception to completion, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards, technical excellence, and client satisfaction. This role offers the opportunity to work on diverse projects and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of professionals.


Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and engineering of civil infrastructure projects, including site development, transportation, water resources, and utilities.
  • Manage project scope, budget, and schedule to ensure successful delivery within established constraints.
  • Conduct feasibility studies, site investigations, and engineering analyses to inform design decisions.
  • Prepare and review engineering plans, specifications, and reports in compliance with applicable codes and standards.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior staff members, fostering their professional development.
  • Coordinate with clients, regulatory agencies, and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle to address concerns and facilitate project approvals.
  • Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor construction progress, resolve technical issues, and ensure compliance with design specifications.
  • Participate in business development activities, including client meetings, proposal preparation, and presentations.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license in Civil Engineering.
  • X years of experience in civil engineering design and project management.
  • Proficiency in engineering software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and hydraulic modeling tools.
  • Strong understanding of civil engineering principles, codes, and regulations.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven track record of managing projects successfully, meeting deadlines, and delivering high-quality results.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic team environment.
