Complete Dental is seeking a skilled and dedicated Dental Assistant to join our DECATUR team. The Dental Assistant will work closely with the dentist and dental hygienists to provide exceptional patient care. The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of dental procedures and excellent communication skills.
```Duties:```
- Assist the dentist during dental procedures
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments
- Take and develop dental x-rays
- Provide chairside assistance to the dentist
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices
- Perform basic dental laboratory tasks
- Maintain accurate patient records
- Follow HIPAA guidelines for patient confidentiality
- Perform basic medical coding and documentation
```Qualifications:```
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an accredited dental assisting program
- X-Ray certification
- Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and systems
- Proficient in taking vital signs
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
