Now Hiring: Recreation Director Assistant

Shift Type: Days, rotating weekends.

Job Type: Full-time

Qualifications of a Recreation Director Assistant:

·Proficient in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding the English language.

·Ability to make independent decisions when necessary.

·Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel, and the public.

·Must have patience, tact, a cheerful disposition, and enthusiasm, as well as the willingness to help when needed.

·Ability to assist the Recreation Director with tasks as necessary and lead programs independently.

Experience of a Recreation Director Assistant:

·Previous long-term care or experience working with the elderly or disabled is desirable.

·Computer experience using Windows based software preferred.

·Knowledge of elderly ill and/or disabled.

Certifications of a Recreation Director Assistant:

·TRD (Therapeutic Recreation Degree) preferred but not required.
