The NURSING HOME ADMINISTRATOR (LNHA) is responsible for the effective and efficient management of a long-term care facility, ensuring the delivery of quality healthcare services to residents. They oversee all aspects of the facility's operations, including staff management, financial management, regulatory compliance, and resident care.

Responsibilities: NURSING HOME ADMINISTRATOR (LNHA)

  1. Administration and Leadership:

    • Provide strong leadership and guidance to the facility's staff, promoting a positive and collaborative work environment.
    • Develop and implement policies and procedures that comply with state and federal regulations and promote the well-being of residents.
    • Foster a culture of continuous improvement in the delivery of care and services.
  2. Financial Management:

    • Develop and manage the facility's budget, ensuring financial stability and optimal resource allocation.
    • Monitor and control expenses, analyze financial reports, and implement cost-effective measures.
  3. Staff Management:

    • Recruit, train, and supervise facility staff, including nurses, administrative personnel, and support staff.
    • Conduct performance evaluations and implement training programs to enhance staff skills.
  4. Quality Assurance and Compliance:

    • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and accreditation standards.
    • Implement quality assurance programs to monitor and improve the quality of care and services provided.
  5. Resident Care:

    • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement resident care plans.
    • Oversee the coordination of medical services, rehabilitation programs, and other healthcare-related activities.
  6. Community Relations:

    • Build and maintain positive relationships with residents, their families, and the broader community.
    • Address concerns and feedback from residents and their families in a timely and compassionate manner.
  7. Emergency Preparedness:

Qualifications: NURSING HOME ADMINISTRATOR (LNHA)

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in healthcare administration, business administration, or a related field a plus.
  • State licensure as a Nursing Home Administrator in the State of New Jersey
  • Previous experience in healthcare management, preferably in long-term care.
  • Strong knowledge of state and federal regulations governing long-term care facilities.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
