Responsibilities Include:

• To provide direct nursing care to residents under the medical direction and supervision of the residents’ attending physicians, the Director of Nursing Services, and the Medical Director of the facility.
• To monitor the performance of non-licensed personnel.
• Assist in modifying the treatment regiment to meet the physical and psychological needs of the residents, in accordance with established medical practices and the requirements of the policies and procedures of this facility in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards governing the facility.
• Direct the day-to-day functions of the nursing assistants in accordance with current rules, regulations, and guidelines that govern the long-term care facility.
• Other responsibilites as required.

Requirements Include:

• Must hold an active RN license in MD
• Be able to effectively communicate with residents, families, and staff.
• Experience in long-term care preferred.
