RN Unit Manager Responsibilities Include:

  • Provide leadership and supervision to nursing staff within the unit.
  • Delegate tasks and responsibilities to ensure efficient and effective patient care.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
  • Oversee and coordinate patient care activities within the unit.
  • Ensure that nursing care is delivered in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans.
  • Participate in the hiring and orientation of nursing staff.
  • Provide ongoing training and professional development opportunities for nursing staff.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and address any performance issues.

RN Unit Manager Qualifications:

  • RN UM experience
  • RN license in NJ
  • LTC/SNF experience
  • Serious applicants
