Now Hiring:

Coordinator of Clinical Reimbursement (LPN) Licensed Practical Nurse

Responsibilities:

  •  Reviewing patient medical records to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborating with healthcare providers to clarify and obtain missing or incomplete documentation.
  • Identifying and resolving documentation discrepancies or inconsistencies.
  •  Educating healthcare providers on proper documentation practices and coding guidelines.
  • Conducting regular audits to assess the quality and integrity of medical records.
  • Analyzing data and generating reports to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Staying updated on industry regulations and best practices related to clinical documentation.
  • Participating in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient care and documentation needs.
  • Assisting with the implementation and maintenance of electronic health record systems.
  •  Ensuring patient confidentiality and privacy in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Perform all duties in accordance with local, state, and federal guidelines.
  • Other duties as assigned by Unit Manager, Director of Nursing and Administrator.

Qualifications:

  • Ability to work independently or part of a group.
  • Computer knowledge.
  • Previous long term care experience is preferred but not required.

License:

  •  (LPN) Licensed Pracitcal Nurse Licensure in this state
