NOW HIRING: Admissions Director
Admissions Director Responsibilities:
- Oversee the admissions process, ensuring a seamless and efficient experience for residents and their families.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals, physicians, and other referral sources to facilitate smooth transitions into our facility.
- Conduct pre-admission assessments to determine the appropriateness of potential residents for admission.
- Work closely with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate the admission of new residents, including communication with nursing and support staff.
- Provide information and assistance to families regarding the admission process, facility services, and resident care policies.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of regulatory requirements and insurance coverage related to admissions.
- Develop and implement marketing strategies to attract potential residents and promote the facility's services.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with community partners, including hospitals, physicians, and social service agencies.
- Collaborate with the finance department to ensure accurate billing and reimbursement processes.
- Participate in facility tours and orientation programs for new residents and their families.
Admissions Director Qualifications:
- High school diploma
- Admissions experience in LTC/SNF required
- May be required to work outside of normal working hours
