About The Job:

• The Inpatient Pharmacy Technician assists the licensed Pharmacist in preparation and distribution of drugs, maintaining drug inventory, and maintaining records for a hospital.
• The Pharmacy Technician performs specific job responsibilities authorized by the State Board of Pharmacy Rules and Regulations.

Responsibilities:

• Managing necessary paperwork.
• Ordering medications and supplies.
• Sterile Product preparation.
• Stocking/restocking all Automated Dispensing Machines.
• Inventory control including management of outdated medications.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent work experience.
• Completion of a Pharmacy Tech certification program.
• Previous experience in an acute care setting is preferred.
• Current certification from the Board of Pharmacy in the State of New Hampshire (or attainment within 6 months of hire).
