ADULT PROGRAM NURSE

Contract

Rate: $50/hr

Five days a week

-M,W, Th : 0830am to 4:30pm

-Tuesday: 0830am to 4:30pm

-Friday: 0830am to 4:00pm

Associate’s degree in nursing and possession of a current license to practice as a Registered Nurse

in Maryland Bachelor’s degree in nursing and Maryland delegating

nurse credential preferred along with prior experience working with adults with intellectual

disabilities/autism.

HRST Certification, who understands care plans and has experience with adults with disabilities and knowledge of DDA.

Triage Nursing and Delegating nurse

Computer savvy

experienced with working with adults with disabilities and developing care plans

required to attend meetings,

training staff on lifting and giving medication,

45 and 90 day assessments,

document on seizure logs,

G-tube feeding

At least two years of experience

BLS REQUIRED

COVID-19 Vaccination

Requires strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate verbally and in writing.

Successful completion of the required training courses within a specified period of time.

Tuberculosis screening to assure no significant risk to the health and safety of others.

Successfully passing a criminal background investigation and pre-employment and random

drug screenings.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $50.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
