Compensation: $33.99/hourly
Maintain stable operations of company network environment and provide optimal network performance across all Compass Health locations. This includes research, planning, developing, and configuration of new and existing projects/technologies to introduce into company network infrastructure. Provide continual maintenance of new and existing network hardware/software. Follow best practices methods for configuration and security of network hardware/software. Communicate to Senior Network Engineer of any issues that may arise as well as any projects requiring network downtime. Provide monitoring and reporting for all aspect of company network infrastructure and performance. Provide network support to all locations throughout the Compass Health network.
*This is a full-time, benefit eligible, hybrid position, open to Missouri residents. This position is hybrid, and will require the ability to commute to our Rolla facilities in order to serve the needs of our employees in those locations.
Responsibilities Include:
• Manage Compass Health network infrastructure, including managed services routers, switches, firewalls, security appliances, and wireless hardware/software
• Perform network design and capacity planning
• Conduct research on network products, services, protocols and standards in support of network procurement and development efforts
• Interact and negotiate with vendors, outsourcers and contractors to secure network products and services
• Develop, implement and maintain policies, procedures and associated training plans for network resource administration, appropriate use, and disaster recovery
• Practice network asset management, including maintenance of network component inventory and related documentation and technical specifications information
• Administer and maintain end user accounts, permissions, and access rights
• Perform system backups and recovery
• Monitor and test network performance and provide network performance statistics and reports
• Recommend, schedule and perform network improvements, upgrades and repairs
• Manage and/or provide guidance to junior members of the team
• Other duties as assigned
