Compass Health Network is Hiring a Clinical Care Specialist Near Hillsboro, MO
Are you a Medical Assistant or Nurse looking to make a difference in the community? We are currently offering a $3,000 sign-on bonus for Medical Assistants and an additional $3,000 for Nurses to support our critical services.
Job DescriptionAs a full-time, benefit-eligible Medical Assistant or Nurse LPN, you will play a vital role in our person-centered integrated care team. Your responsibilities will include preparing patients for examinations and treatments, assisting with minor surgeries, administering medications, providing patient education, and maintaining supplies and equipment.
Essential Job Functions
- Prepare patients for examination and treatment
- Set up exam and treatment rooms
- Perform venipunctures, urinalysis, and EKGs
- Administer immunizations and injections
- Provide patient education and instruction
- Assist with scheduling tests and treatments
- Maintain patient files and records
- Adhere to standard precautions and regulations
- Keep facilities and equipment clean
- Monitor medical supplies and order when necessary
- Attend required training sessions
- High School/GED
- Medical Assistant certification or Practical Nursing certificate (LPN)
- 2 years of equivalent work experience (if certification is not obtained)
- 2 years of medical office experience preferred
- Knowledge of medical office procedures and terminology
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- Medical Assistant Certification or LPN license
- Passing MO NCLEX exam (for LPNs)
