Job Summary

Manager of Strategy & Planning position (Retention Reporting/Data Automation) is a key role within the Strategy and Planning department with a unique focus on the North America Retention reporting. This position also serves as a technology lead for advanced reporting tools (e.g., Power platform, etc.), and is responsible for maintaining and enhancing the related retention databases that allow for improved analyses, process efficiencies, and continued financial accuracy. This position reports to VP, Strategy & Planning. The position will be based in our Charlotte, NC corporate office.

Responsibilities:
* Manage the Monthly Retention reporting provided to Compass Group NA Officers and Sector Finance
* Liaise with Strategic Alliance Group (SAG) and all Compass Sectors to ensure retention reporting is current and consistent
* Identify and lead any needed process improvements in retention reporting
* Maintain Retention/Lost data key metrics as periodically requested by Senior management
* Plan and compile the SAG top accounts and ad hoc requests as needed
* Analyze sector and consolidated NA retention metrices during the Budget and Forecast process
* Enhance and maintain Access databases (e.g., Retention/Lost/SAG databases)
* Manage the RPA lifecycle, dashboards, and technical platforms for Financial Planning, including development of RPA and other associated technology solutions, process design, implementation, and maintenance (Power Platform experience required).
* Create, enhance, and maintain datasets from multiple sources, data dashboards, and advanced data visualizations with Power BI, Access and other Power BI platforms
* Increase the broader Financial Planning team's knowledge of technology solutions by leading trainings and development sessions as a technology subject matter expert.
* Special projects as needed
* Assist with ad hoc reports and analysis for executive management
* Identification and implementation of on-going efficiencies and process improvements

Qualifications:
* Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Accounting/Finance, Data Science, or related degree
* 5 yrs Accounting/Finance/Reporting experience; 3 years Coding/System Development experience.
* Proficiency in Power platforms (Power automate and Power BI required), Microsoft suite (Strong Excel skills required, Access database skills a plus) and SQL
* Hyperion/ESSbase, SAP experience is a plus
* Leadership and project management capability
* Excellent problem-solving, process improvement and analytical skills
* Strong interpersonal, leadership and communication skills
* Ability to constantly monitor and adjust priorities
* Team player in a fast paced, deadline driven environment
* Ability to influence results when no direct authority exists
