- We are hiring immediately for an ASSOC, ACCOUNTING position.
- Location: 2305 DANIELS Street Madison, WI 53718. Note: online applications accepted only. Based out of the Madison, WI branch; may have periodic travel to the Machesney Park, IL office as needed for training and back-up support.
- Schedule: Full Time; Monday- Friday, 8am- 4pm.
- Requirement: Background in accounting, finance, or administrative support, or equivalent skills and/or education.
- Pay Range: $16.50 - $18.50 per hour

Job Summary
This individual will Co-Manage the administrative duties associated with our Micro-Market/Avenue C business. Ensuring service-oriented customer relationship management and efficient financial operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with recording daily cash collections into Market system; investigate and reconcile any discrepancies.
- Review Market inventory reports daily and investigate anomalies, over/short issues, any other inventory related concerns.
- Assist with the weekly close for Markets. Resolve closing errors daily and weekly.
- Investigates outstanding invoices, makes collection calls, negotiates payment terms, and processes liens for collections
- Enters data into accounts receivable general ledger accounts
- Assist Operations team with Market price book updates.
- Backup the other Ave C / Market accounting associate in preparing and distributing (via email) weekly Market reports to Management team. and other ad hoc duties.
- Assist with general administrative/accounting work as needed such as Phones, filing, logging service calls, etc.
- Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- 1-3 years of experience in accounts receivable or general accounting, or equivalent education with ability to demonstrate an understanding of basic accounting principles, fair credit practices and collection regulations
- Proficient in MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, and Excel).
- Ability to analyze information and resolve issues
- Demonstrates strong attention to detail, communication skills, data entry skills, and math skills
- Experienced in working with web-based programs.
- Based out of the Madison, WI branch; may have periodic travel to the Machesney Park, IL office as needed for training and back-up support.
