Job Summary
Position Focus
Coordinates the activities of the department
Establishes rapport with team members, and partners
Meets operations’ product needs on a timely basis
Leads by example; delivers on promises
Recognizes the need to effectively manage and affect change
Ensures quality, safety and sanitation standards are maintained
Understands the importance of business and operational efficiency
Engages in weekly meetings scheduled by the DO and Executive Chef.
Organized with the ability to learn and prioritize based on business needs
Major Areas of Responsibility
Operations
Keeps an up to date BEO book.
Understands all menus, product offerings, packaging and pricing
Process purchase orders (POs) and checks inventory to maintain cost efficiency
Pays invoices in a timely manner with current purchasing systems
Follows up with vendors on a monthly basis for missing invoices and statements. Completes Statement Reconciliation Worksheet and reports to regional leadership
Ensures properly receiving procedures outlined in purchasing Core Signatures. Follows through and communicates shortages of products during receiving to leadership.
Assist the leadership team with inputting month end inventory counts.
Plans monthly department audits to ensure areas are rotated and being properly counted.
Completes Accrual Statement to ensure the financial health of the facility.
