Job Summary
The Community Manager is responsible for enabling a collaborative, productive and energized workplace while ensuring the workplace experience exceeds expectations. Acts as a liaison between the client, the colleagues and all supplier vendors. Responsible for establishing a warm, welcoming and professional atmosphere for all clients, executives, and staff members. This person will manage the daily operations of the Conference Solutions Team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Answers telephones and makes reservations for clients
- Tracks information in the database
- Responsible for planning in the conference center
- Ensures appropriate communication to operating departments including Conference Services, Catering, and Audio Visual
- Checks all conference rooms before client arrives
- Ensures rooms are set according to customer standards
- Ensure Audio Visual equipment is set according to customer standards
- Finalizes all planning details with clients and distributes to all operating departments
- Provides business center services when requested
- Rune end-of-day reports
Preferred Qualifications:
- Four year college degree preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Two years of planning experience in hospitality industry
- Proactive mindset to anticipate and support changes in our business
- Keep abreast of industry trends and share information with staff
- Exceptional customer service abilities
