Job Summary
Summary: Receives, stores and distributes material, tools, equipment and products.
Job Responsibilities:
- Ensures appropriate functions, duties, and procedures are performed as directed by Warehouse Lead, Supervisor, Manager.
- Receives, unloads, moves, and loads merchandise or products.
- Verifies correct counts of items received and notes inventory and delivery discrepancies or damages.
- Maintains proper storage of inventory merchandise to avoid spills or spoilage, rotates stock according to schedule.
- Maintains work area in a safe manner, reports any unsafe and hazardous conditions.
- Manages and maintains stock control, including: plans future needs, and adjusts par levels, processes stock orders, controls dead stock and scheduled deliveries.
- Operates forklift, pallet jack, light utility when necessary. Training provided.
- Accurate use of Purchasing system
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
- Lifts and transports up to 75lbs.
- Must be able to walk and stand for long periods of time.
- Basic English writing, reading and math.
