Compass Child Care is seeking a part-time enthusiastic, high-quality childcare assistant teacher and/or aide to float between rooms from the hours of 11:00-5:30.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Maintain a safe, healthy, and well-balanced environment for children
• Communicate with parents on the child’s behalf
• Provide positive, engaging, and nurturing care to children
• Use positive and effective discipline to manage behavior
• Maintain a safe and clean environment inside the classroom

Requirements:

• Must be Assistant Teacher or Aide qualified according to DHS Rule 3.
• Must have experience in childcare or teaching field.
• Must be comfortable standing for long periods of time (up to 5 hours a day)
• Must be comfortable sitting on the floor nurturing babies.
• Must be reliable, organized, and punctual.
• Must be able to fluently understand, read and speak English.
