Working Arrangement Hybrid Job Description The opportunity Reporting to the President & CEO of John Hancock Investment Management the role is responsible for the Personal Investing business and is focused on building a cohesive strategy and executing a comprehensive, integrated plan founded in digital excellence to enable significant growth in Retail Wealth capabilities. This leader will manage and scale all direct-to-consumer retail offerings with responsibility to build a holistic wealth platform increasing member retention. The incumbent is a strategic business leader, with strong leadership skills, expected to maintain momentum and deliver against our ambitious transformation agenda, enabling a market-leading digital experience for our customers. Accountabilities: Strategically position the business for the future through the lens of the customer, with a focus on the end-to-end customer experience. Drive growth in the Personal Investing business through the ongoing development of our retail offerings and rollover business. Deliver best in class member retention results through a full-scale offering, positioning the firm as a compelling retail wealth destination. Develop future asset gathering and rollover capabilities to meet the evolving need of the customer across business units while capitalizing on cross channel opportunities. Build future-state digital ecosystem that drives ongoing customer conversion and platform synergies meeting the holistic needs of our investors. Oversee best in class service model supporting the ongoing client experience. Lead the integration of the broker dealer across current and future operating model driving for efficiency and scale. Explore and develop potential partnerships to drive future business models. Build strong, effective, collaborative relationships across business units, operations, marketing and technology. Qualifications and Experience: 10 years of experience in wealth management. Experience designing, scaling and delivering complex transformation initiatives with a concentration on digital member retention and increasing customer lifetime engagement. Strong change management skills, with a focus on multi-division and organizational integration across a broad span of influence. Large-scale digital user experience with a focus on end-to-end digital customer experience, acquisition and retention in traditional and emerging areas. Self-directed leader with vision who establishes credibility and inspires others across the organization and externally in the marketplace. Demonstrated leadership experience, operating in a multi-location environment with the ability to work with multiple stakeholders within a matrix model. Capability to drive organizational and technological integration. Strong communications, judgement, and the ability to communicate effectively at all levels with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. MBA or industry license preferred.
