Position Summary
Develops and prepares potential foster families for foster care service by coordinating and conducting pre-service training, as well as coordinating and conducting home studies on foster care candidates. Additionally, position is responsible for managing continuing education process for existing foster families and training as necessary.
Position Requirements
Education/Training: Bachelor’s degree or higher (Master’s degree preferred) in a human services field (child development, psychology, sociology, social work counseling and guidance, divinity, education); preferably a licensed counselor, social worker, minister or therapist (LPC, LAC, LCSW, LMFT, LMSW) with three years of work experience in a child welfare or human services agency. Shall complete 24 hours of job related CEU per year.
Experience: Record of proficiency in organizational skills.
