What the position isThe Reliability Analyst is responsible for the compilation of data and timely issuance of various reliability reports to company personnel and the FAA. The Reliability Analyst is directly responsible to the Director of Technical Services or designee. Essential functions:Improved review of ATAs against historic values to identify trendsAbility to automate functions that are currently manualKeep up with the increasing fleet countMore in-depth analysis of component reliability issuesComponent trend analysis and review on a regular cadence rather than ad hoc, after the fact, review, and analysisReview historic requests to determine automated reporting and analysisCollecting and analyzing data dealing with the performance and reliability of aircraft systems and componentsUtilization of the CA-116 and CA-117 to review technical delays and cancellationsEvaluating pilot and/or maintenance control reports daily to identify trends or repetitive discrepanciesCollecting and analyzing fleet and component reliability for CASS and Reliability reportsAssist in the preparation of monthly CASS and Reliability reports identifying items of concern for review and action by CASS board membersOther duties as assigned by the Reliability ManagerAuthority:Perform surveillance supporting the CASS and Reliability programs.Recommend maintenance and program changes to the Maintenance Program Manual. General requirements & qualifications:Ability to use and develop word processing, spreadsheets, and database computer software programs and filesHave acceptable knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations, Company manuals, and Company proceduresProficient in ExcelExperience in Statistics Have qualifications acceptable to the Reliability ManagerHold a valid state-issued driver’s licenseFluent in the English Language (Written and spoken)Legally authorized to work in the US without sponsorship (position not eligible for any form of sponsorship)Previous aviation or aviation maintenance exposureHigh School Diploma
