Community Wholesale Tire, established in 1935, is a regional distributor with wholesale warehouses in St. Louis, Kansas City, Springfield MO, Peoria IL and Cedar Rapids IA. We are looking for an experienced credit and collections manager to lead our credit and accounts receivable department. The position is located at our headquarters in Hazelwood, MO.

Credit Manager Responsibilities

• Approve new/open accounts and set credit lines
• Collection efforts on past due accounts and keep accounts within credit line
• Work with managers of company branches and salesmen in credit and collection efforts
• Security filings and letters of credit
• Maintain positive and professional attitude with difficult customers and collection issues

Job Requirements

· At least 3 years of experience in credit and collections

· Knowledge of collection laws

· Ability to negotiate and structure a deficiency plan

· Strong communication skills

· Positive attitude
