Your role as a Full Time Teller

As a Full Time Teller at Community Trust Credit Union in Gurnee, your day-to-day responsibilities will include greeting members, processing transactions accurately, answering inquiries, and promoting credit union products and services. You will be responsible for balancing cash drawers, maintaining a clean work area, and adhering to all security procedures to ensure the safety of both members and staff. Would you be a great Full Time Teller?

To excel as a Full Time Teller at Community Trust Credit Union in Gurnee, you should possess strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with members and colleagues. Attention to detail and accuracy is crucial when processing transactions and maintaining financial records. A basic understanding of financial principles and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment are also essential for success in this role. Familiarity with banking software and tools such as cash handling equipment and computer systems will be advantageous.

Our full-time employees usually work about 38 to 40 hours per week. It is important that you have availability Monday through Friday 7:30am to 5:45pm, and Saturdays 8:30am to 1:30pm. To help us provide the amazing service our members expect, we also require our employees to be available to work at either our Gurnee, Grayslake or our Lake Villa locations.
