Community Square Property Management is Hiring a Leasing Agent Near Tallahassee, FL

Seeking a capable, team-oriented professional to oversee under the guidance of the Property Manager ~200 multifamily apartment units in Tallahassee, FL. As a Leasing Agent, you will be the first point of contact for prospective residents and play a crucial role in achieving our occupancy and leasing goals. You will be responsible for showcasing our properties, assisting prospective tenants throughout the leasing process, and ensuring a seamless and positive experience for all parties involved.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet and welcome prospective residents warmly.
  • Conduct property tours, highlighting key features and amenities.
  • Answer inquiries regarding property details, leasing terms, and community policies.
  • Assist applicants to complete rental applications and collect application fees.
  • Verify applicant information, including rental history and credit reports.
  • Communicate leasing terms and negotiate lease agreements with prospective residents.

Marketing and Outreach:

  • Assist in the development and execution of marketing campaigns to attract prospective tenants.
  • Follow up with all guest cards via text, email, and phone
  • Maintain an active online presence by updating property listings on websites and social media.
  • Participate in outreach events and collaborate with local businesses to promote available units.
  • Maintain accurate records of leasing activities, applications, and lease agreements.
  • Ensure compliance with Fair Housing laws and regulations.
  • Prepare leasing reports and communicate regularly with the property management team.

Tenant Relations:

  • Address tenant inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Coordinate move-in and move-out procedures, including inspections and key exchanges.
  • Assist in organizing resident events and activities to foster a sense of community.
  • Assist in monthly rent collection oversight
  • Help resolve tenant complaints and issues in a timely and professional manner

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (bachelor’s degree in a related field is a plus).
  • Strong knowledge of property management software (AppFolio preferred)
  • Previous experience in leasing or property management is preferred.
  • Knowledge of Fair Housing laws and regulations id preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong customer service orientation.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Flexibility to work weekends, and evenings as needed.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
