About North High Brewing: North High Brewing serves craft beer made by the brewery that shares our name! We also serve a full menu of from scratch bites, cater private events and large parties, and host community events. Our first restaurant located in Historic Dublin, opened in 2020, while our Uptown Westerville location opened in the Fall of 2023. Job Summary: Assistant General Manager We are looking for a restaurant Assistant General Manager who is focused on the guest experience, has a hands-on management style, is proficient with finances, feels comfortable managing the floor in a fast paced environment, can host a party and have fun while doing it! To be successful, candidates must be self motivated and highly organized, with strong leadership and communication skills. We expect you to take ownership of the restaurant and take accountability for your team. As a company, we continuously coach our team members and help them strengthen their skills as operators and financial managers within the business. Responsibilities/Requirements:
Customer Service:
Provide top-notch customer service to our guests via email, phone or in person setting the example for the rest of the team.
Present a professional appearance adhering to the smart casual dress code
Store Operations:
Ensure the store is set show ready and opens on time.
Ensure the Weekly Roadmap is completed and that the manager log is completed at the end of the shift.
Complete the DSS and bank deposits as scheduled
Verify clock outs previous day, Update tip registry, Update digital check log and store cc log
Manage Beer, Liquor, Wine inventory using inventory sheets.
Manage and book private events and large parties following our stores SOP
Team Management:
Create schedules for the FOH team using labor projections
Ensure all shifts are covered
Manage onboarding of new FOH hires. Ensure all paperwork is complete before the new employee is clocks into train/work.
Manage and provide training for new FOH hires.
Ensure the FOH teams training is up-to-date regarding policies, procedures, products, events and specials.
Provide solutions for team members and know how

Job Requirements:
Ideally, 5 years of experience as a restaurant Assistant General Manager or similar role
Ideally, 5 years of experience in customer service management
Extensive food and beverage knowledge
Computer literacy
Familiarity with restaurant management software (R365 and Toast)
Experience in event planning
Strong leadership, motivational, and people skills
Good financial management skills
Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Team player
Good time-management skills
Great interpersonal and communication skills
Culinary school diploma or BS degree in Business Administration
