Community Services Group, Inc. is Hiring a Behavior Consultant Near Harrisburg, PA

Join Community Services Group (CSG), a Certified B Corporation, as a Behavior Consultant for our Intensive Behavioral Health Services (IBHS) and find meaning in your work every day. Immediately hiring for this position.

CSG is offering a $1,000 Sign-On-Bonus for this position that will be paid after the successful completion of the initial evaluation period.

As part of our IBHS Team, you will enjoy a rewarding career working in the community helping to improve the lives of children and adolescents with a mental health (MH) or autism (ASD) diagnosis. This position is based out of our Harrisburg Office and covers Dauphin County.

As a Behavior Consultant or Behavior Consultant ABA, you will design and direct the implementation of behavioral intervention plans which are individualized to each child or adolescent and to family needs. You will also provide child centered and family based treatment according to Child Adolescent Service System Program (CASSP) principles.

This position offers:

  • Starting salary (Salary is negotiable based on relevant experience and licensure):
    • Behavior Consultant - $45,000/yr.
    • Behavior Consultant ABA - $50,000/yr.

Qualifications:

Behavior Consultant must meet one of the following:

  1. Be a Licensed Behavior Specialist (LBS) in PA.
  2. Be a Licensed Social Worker (LSW).
  3. Be a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC).
  4. Have a certification as a Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA) or other accredited graduate-level certification in behavior analysis.
  5. Have a graduate degree in ABA from an accredited college or university or have an equivalent degree from a foreign college or university.
  6. Have a minimum of 1 year of full-time experience in providing mental health direct services to children, youth or young adults and a graduate degree in a related field from an accredited college or university or an equivalent degree from a foreign college.
  7. Completed a clinical or mental health direct service practicum and have a graduate degree in in a related field from an accredited college or university or an equivalent degree from a foreign college.

Behavior Consultant ABA must meet one of the following:

  1. Be licensed in this Commonwealth as a psychologist, professional counselor, marriage and family therapist, clinical social worker, social worker, behavior specialist, certified registered nurse practitioner or a professional with a scope of practice that includes overseeing the provision of ABA services and have one of the following:
    1. A certification as a BCaBA or other undergraduate-level certification in behavior analysis that is accredited.
    2. A minimum of 1 year of full-time experience providing ABA services and a minimum of 12 credits in ABA from an accredited college or university or the equivalent from a foreign college or university.
    3. A minimum of 1 year of full-time experience providing ABA services under the supervision of a professional with a certification as a BCBA or other graduate-level certification in behavior analysis that is accredited and a minimum of 40 hours of training related to ABA approved by the Department or provided by a continuing education provider approved by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board.
  2. Be licensed in this Commonwealth as a psychologist and have a minimum of 1 year of full-time experience providing ABA services and a minimum of 40 hours of training related to ABA approved by the Department or provided by a continuing education provider approved by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board.

Special Requirements:

  • Able to work flexible hours to meet individual's and program's needs.
  • Have a valid driver's license, good driving record, and access to a reliable vehicle to attend trainings, meetings, and/or transport individual to appointments.
  • Have the ability to obtain clearances as defined by regulations.
