Community Services Foundation is Hiring a Site Coordinator (Bi-lingual) Near Washington, DC

Site Coordinator - King Towers
The responsibilities of the Site Coordinator are as follows:

Responsibilities:
  • Ensures that the Community Center’s programs and services created by Community Services Foundation (CSF) are executed as directed.
  • Prepares monthly schedule of Center programming and special events.
  • Serves as liaison with community groups and schools as directed by CSF.
  • Submits timesheets, performance evaluations, monthly reports, and newsletters for review and approval.
  • Compiles vendor weekly/monthly reports, orders program, and office supplies for approval and processing.
  • Ensures the community center staff adheres to Community Services Foundation (CSF) established guidelines and regulations and those of management company. The position reports directly to the Program Specialist.
  • Schedules CSF’s vetted vendors for activities in the applicable youth, teen, adult, and seniors programs.
  • Prepares bulletin boards to reflect programs, holidays, upcoming programs, etc.
  • Conducts resident surveys to identify the needs of the community for CSF to develop recreational/social programming and special events to meet these needs; inclusive of youth, teens, adults and seniors programs, (if applicable).
  • Reports all suspected youth and adult abuse and incident reports to CSF Office and appropriate agency.
  • Conducts outreach on the property to establish, maintain and strengthen relationships with residents and maintain maximum participation in all activities.
  • Conducts safety evacuation drills, parent meetings, and resident meetings, as determined.
  • Ensures confidentiality of residents and sensitive staff matters.
  • Ensures that the Community Center is kept neat and requests maintenance repairs and janitorial cleaning, as needed of the Community Manager.
  • Prepare and maintain participants’ attendance records, program reports, and data for grant compliance reports, if applicable.
  • Enforces rules and regulations of the Center with the residents and vendors.
  • Supervises and trains subordinate staff; if applicable. Utilizes good judgment with participants, residents, rental office staff, investors, and community partners.
  • Performs other related tasks as requested.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Knowledge of the rules and regulations governing the conduct of recreational programs/events and field trips.
  • Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing.
  • Ability to plan and supervise the work of subordinates and volunteers.
  • Ability to plan and implement programs for all ages.
  • Ability to visually inspect facilities for repairs.
  • Ability to initiate programs and evaluate their effectiveness.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff, businesses, schools, and residents.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft Outlook, and Adobe.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Associate's Degree (Bachelor's degree a plus) in Recreation, Elementary Education, or related field and/or two (2) years of experience developing and/or implementing recreational/social programs, preferably with some supervisory experience; or any equivalent combination of related education, training, and experience.
  • Bilingual in Spanish preferred.
