Position: Lead Clinician -TAY

Program: Heartland Wellness Recovery Center

Hours: 40 hours per week. Clinic hours are9:00 am - 5:00 pm (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday), and 11:00 am - 7:00 pm (Wednesday)

Pay Rate: $29.00 to $31.00 per hour

Education:Masters degree in a mental health related field

Licensure: Registered or license-eligible with the California Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS) is required

As a Lead Clinician - TAY, you will:

• Provide psychosocial rehabilitation interventions and servicesto the transitioned aged youth population (18 to 24 years old).
• Work with a multi-disciplinary team who provide outreach, engagement, case management, crisis intervention and mental health services to clients in an outpatient clinic setting
• Conduct evaluations, screenings, assessments, crisis interventions, and case management
• Provide mobile outreach to TAY clients in the community, if needed
• Participate in the clinical delivery of the teams psychosocial rehabilitation services, including developing individual service plans and coordinating community resources to maximize optimal health outcomes
• Lead daily organizational treatment team meetings

Additional Qualifications and Skills

• Strong clinical skills and two years of previous experience working with adults with severe emotional disturbance and co-occurring disorders in an outpatient or walk-in model is strongly preferred
• Bilingual Spanish or Arabic/Chaldean preferred, but not required
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative work environment, and have a can-do attitude
• Proficiency in MS Office applications, specifically Word and Excel
• A valid California drivers license in good standing, proof of insurance, and personal vehicle are required to fulfill the essential functions of this position.
• Able to pass criminal/background clearance

Heartland Wellness and Recovery Center is an adult outpatient program which provides a variety of intervention services to individuals in crisis in the East County. We serve individuals with serious mental illness and co-occurring substance abuse disorders.

Services include initial psychosocial assessments, psychiatric and medication evaluations, ongoing medication support services, limited individual and group counseling, supported housing, care coordination, case management, and linking clients with additional community-basedsupports.
