Duties:
- Create and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities for preschool children
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow
- Foster social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development through play and structured activities
- Monitor and assess each child's progress and provide feedback to parents/guardians
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to ensure a well-rounded educational experience
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment
- Follow all daycare policies and procedures to ensure the health, safety, and welfare of the children
Skills:
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents/guardians, and colleagues
- Patience and understanding to work with young children at various developmental stages
- Creativity to develop engaging lesson plans and activities
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the individual needs of each child
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices
- Basic understanding of subjects such as math, language arts, science, and physical education
