Community Options For Residential is Hiring a DIRECTOR OF SERVICES - Grand Forks Near Grand Forks, ND

Community Options department of Residential Services is looking for an energetic, engaging, highly motivated Director of Services for our Residential Services Program in Grand Forks, ND. This position offers room for considerable growth with the organization. As a Director of Services, you will provide leadership for the daily program activities. The role is responsible for all planning, organizing, training, recruiting and retention of staff, and oversight of all program activities. The wage for this position is $23 to $26 an hour depending on experience

Minimum Qualifications:

  • A bachelor’s degree in human services, business, or a related field is preferred
  • Two (2) years' experience with human service or developmental disability (DD) programs; supervisory experience in either area preferred
  • Strong leadership and networking skills to build relationships with staff and community
  • Good communication skills, verbal and written, and excellent customer service skills
  • Access to working mobile phone (iPhone/ Android)
  • CPR and First Aid certification, or ability to obtain successfully during new hire training period
  • A valid driver’s license, acceptable driving record, reliable transportation, and proof of insurance for the vehicle subject to the statute of the licensing state and the ability to travel based on operational and clientele needs
  • Successfully pass a criminal background check, including Motor Vehicle Record (MVR), drug screening, and ND Department of Human Service (DHS) pre-employment approval
  • Completion of training as required by Community Options

  • Work Environment: Employees work in indoor and/or outdoor environments, i.e., office, home, or community setting. Employees are required to operate a motor vehicle and travel as deemed necessary. Assigned work shifts and locations will vary depending on the customers’ and/ or agency's needs.
