Community National Bank & Trust is a “True” community bank. Our bank has an opportunity for a Operations Officer in Augusta. The Operations Officer is responsible for managing day-to-day banking center operations and leading of the Teller and CSR positions. This position is also responsible for building and developing staff accountability to continuously improve customer service and banking center success.

Primary Responsibilities and Duties:

• Perform transactions assisting customers with check cashing, withdrawals, deposits, loan payments and approving/declining transactions when manager-level review is required.
• Open new personal and business accounts and associated products
• Ensures scheduling and timecard approvals are completed on a timely basis and by the required deadline.
• Maintain Deposit Compliance and educate staff on updates
• Ensure branch audits are completed as required
• Responsible for reviewing daily reports and account decisioning
• Accountable for the timely correction of all deposit documentation deficiencies
• Research and resolve customer issues
• Supervise banking center staff, including interviewing, hiring, coaching, scheduling, counseling, motivating, training, preparing and delivering performance evaluations, preparing and delivering discipline, and terminating, when appropriate.

• Thorough knowledge of bank operations, policies, procedures, compliance, and banking regulations.

Experience:

• Minimum of two years banking experience required.
• Previous supervisory experience preferred.
