Community Mental Health Center, Inc. is a provider of comprehensive mental health services, offering inpatient, outpatient, home-based, school, and community-based programs to individuals and families in Dearborn, Franklin, Ohio, Ripley and Switzerland counties in Southeastern Indiana. Position Responsibilities: The Outpatient Therapist will provide diagnostic and therapeutic services and maintain collaborative relationships with other partners.

Qualifications: Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling, Social Work, or Marriage and Family Therapy required. Must have relevant credentials qualify for clinical privileges as either a supervisee or independent practitioner for general privileges and specialized privileges as required by the program to which the position is assigned.

Day-to-Day Expectations:

• Partners with individuals and families to improve their mental health by using individual, couples, family and group treatment modalities
• Interviews and evaluates clients, establishes diagnoses and levels of care, and establishes treatment plans which define the goals, treatment modalities, specific outcomes, and time-frames for treatment. 
• Assists patients in accessing resources and entitlements.
• Promotes wellness by maintaining awareness of psychiatric medications and other prescribed medications and medical issues.

Administrative Supervisor: The administrative supervisor is the Program Manager within the Outpatient Services Program.
