Community Mental Health Authority of Clinton, Eaton and Ingham Counties is Hiring a Quality coordinator Near Lansing, MI

Responsibilities : Under the supervision of the Director of Quality, Customer Service and Recipient Rights (QCSRR) is responsible for the organization’s Quality Improvement (QI) initiatives and ensuring compliance within the provider network through annual site reviews.

These initiatives include evaluation, needs assessment, performance reporting, accreditation and audit processes, research efforts, quality and compliance process, site reviews, provider communications, chart reviews, data analysis.

Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to providing leadership and supervision to assigned staff, program development and planning, policy and procedure review and development, development and maintenance of programs with community partner, and special assignments / projects.

Responsible for carrying out all activities of the department in a manner that fulfills CMHA-CEI’s mission, policies and procedures.

Minimum of three (3) years of experience in a field related to behavioral health (. Mental Illness / Intellectual Developmentally Disabled / Substance Use Disorder) is required.

At least one-year work experience in a lead position or progressively more responsible position required. Demonstrated leadership and good judgment skills required.

Ability to communicate accurately and effectively both in writing and verbally is required. Possession of a valid Michigan driver’s license and access to reliable means of transportation for job related use is required.

Must have proficiency in Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, and the ability to master software used by agency. Must have proven abilities in problem-solving, negotiations, and budget.

Knowledge of multiple regulations, standards, policies, and requirements pertaining to clinical documentation, coding, and billing is required.

Must have ability to accurately interpret legal requirements and interpret and implement regulatory standards.

Conditional Employment Requirements : Employment offers for this position will be contingent upon the results of a background verification and credentialing procedure consisting of : Michigan State Police clearance check, Medicaid / Medicare verification, verification of an acceptable driving record, educational background check, and verification of an acceptable work history.

Must be able to pass pre-employment 5-panel drug screen.

Salary / Hours : Starting salary $57,492 - $66,880 annually with scheduled, annual increases that can result in a salary of $85,917 per year.

40 hours per week. Must be able to work some evening hours.
