Responsibilities

Position Overview:

Serving as a technical expert this position is responsible for all aspects of Windows server systems, VMware and related technologies including technical design, planning, implementation, administration, and maintenance. Identifies methods, solutions, and provides project leadership in order to provide a high level of service to both internal and external customers. Install, configure and maintain Windows servers on physical and virtual hardware. Analyze and isolate issues. Monitor servers to ensure security and availability. This position is responsible for tier 3 escalation of all system related issues.

Qualifications

Required:

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent years of experience
• Minimum Five (5) years’ experience in related role
• Proficient with Microsoft networking technologies
• Experience with VMware 5.x and newer, Windows server 2012
• Working knowledge of Windows systems monitoring and trouble shooting
• Understanding of TCPIP, DHCP, DNS
• Strong communication and documentation skills

Preferred:

• MCSA Certified
• MCITP Certified
• VCP Certified
• CCNA Certified
• Experience with Exchange, MSSQL
