Responsibilities

Position Overview: 

To work collaboratively with the palliative care physician and the interdisciplinary care team members to deliver palliative care and related healthcare services to patients and their families. Contributes to profession and society through activities that lead to excellent patient outcomes through timely, effective, efficient, equitable and safe care.

Qualifications

Required:

• Current CA Nurse Practitioner License
• Current CA DEA license to prescribe controlled substances
• Two (2) years nursing experience in Palliative Care, Hospice, Oncology, Intensive Care or Geriatrics

Preferred:

• Current ACHPN certification
• Bilingual in Spanish
