Salary Range: $18.36 - $27.67 / hour

Pay for PRN positions is calculated differently than Full-Time, Regular Part-Time, and Part-Time positions. PRN Rates depend on the position and other factors, including years of experience, or shift commitment according to the department policy. PRN differential is added in certain positions.

Position Overview:

Responsible for collections and account follow-up, correspondence, documentation and account inquiries. Assists the Patient Account Supervisor with Collector daily tasks and schedules, productive, customer-friendly and efficient billing office.

Collections for all payer types
1. Account follow-up for overdue patient accounts
2. Registration of patient accounts
3. Follow up with correspondence
4. Read and interrupt medical records
5. CPT/Diagnosis Codes
6. Promote good Customer Service
7. Other duties as assigned

Required:

• One (1) year Medical collections experience
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)

Preferred:

• Out-patient hospital medical billing experience
