Community Medical is Hiring a People Services - Talent Aquisition Specialist Near Missoula, MT

This is a full time (0.8 - 1.0 Exempt Status) day shift Talent Aquisition Specialist position in the People Services department.

The Talent Acquisition Specialist will research, develop, and implement effective recruiting strategies to attract a diverse pool of qualified and capable talent for multiple departments in both Community Medical Center and Community Physicians Group. Responsible for full cycle recruitment, providing the best possible experience for our healthcare professionals through initiating contact, maintaining exceptional rapport and providing extraordinary customer service. Manages the entire recruitment cycle, from generating job posts to screening candidates and conducting interviews. All relationship building is done virtually via telephone conversations, which means strong communication skills and a friendly disposition are key.

PRIMARY (ESSENTIAL) DUTIES

  • Contributes directly to supporting our mission, vision, and company values by embodying philosophies into everything we do to support Making our communities healthier; creating places where people choose to come for healthcare, physicians and providers want to practice, and employees want to work; and actively champion patient care, do the right thing, embrace individuality, act with kindness, and make a difference together.
  • Develops, facilitates, and implements all phases of the recruitment process for non-RN roles.
  • Collaborates with department managers to identify and draft detailed and accurate job descriptions and hiring criteria.
  • Identifies and implements efficient and effective recruiting methods and strategies based on the available role, industry standards, and the needs of the organization to attract top talent.
  • Builds applicant sources by researching and contacting community services, colleges, employment agencies, recruiters, media, and internet sites; provides organization information, opportunities, and benefits.
  • Posts approved positions on job board per LMAT and ad-hoc approvals.
  • Update and monitor job postings on a continuous basis, providing suggestions for attracting candidates to apply.
  • Source and screen candidates through various channels, including job boards, social media, and networking.
  • Screens applications and selects qualified candidates for people leaders to review.
  • Schedules interviews; oversees preparation of interview questions and other hiring and selection materials.
  • Conduct interviews and assessments to evaluate candidate qualifications and fit.
  • Builds and maintains relationships with candidates and hiring managers alike.
  • Assists with interview process, attending and conducting interviews with managers, directors, and other stakeholders as appropriate and necessary.
  • Collaborates with the hiring manager and/or other People Services staff during the offer process.
  • Coordinate health screening and onboarding date by scheduling with Employee Health and with PS Generalist.
  • Track and analyze recruiting and retention data as well as report on such data and other KPIs.
  • Research and attend job fairs and other recruitment opportunities as pertains to client group(s).
  • Updates job descriptions in data base as directed by PS Business Partner and/or PS Director.
  • Assigns new job codes and submits tickets to for new job codes in payroll and HRIS systems.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

 Minimum Education: 

  • Associate's degree required.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Equivalent combination of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.

Preferred Certification(s):

  • SHRM-CP or PHR preferred.
  • SHRM’s Talent Acquisition Specialty Credential a plus.

 Minimum Work Experience: 

  • 1 years of recruiting experience required.
  • 3 years in a related human resource discipline may be considered in lieu of recruiting experience.

Preferred Work Experience:

  • Recruiting experience in hospital or healthcare industry preferred.

Required Skills:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with good negotiation tactics.
  • Ability to create and implement sourcing strategies for recruitment for a variety of roles.
  • Proactive and independent with the ability to take initiative.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Familiarity with laws, regulations, and best practices applicable to hiring and recruitment.
  • Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn Applicant Tracking Software (ATS) and other recruitment systems.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

On Call/Weekend Requirements: Per department needs.
