Community Medical and Dental Care Inc is Hiring a Pediatrician (Male) Near Monsey, NY

CMADC is a FQHC Look Alike, with dedicated pediatric Department, committed to providing exceptional care for infants, children, and adolescents in the Rockland County area. We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Pediatrician to join our team and play a vital role in promoting the health and well-being of our young patients.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive well-child checkups for infants, children, and adolescents.
  • Diagnose and treat a wide range of childhood illnesses and injuries.
  • Administer immunizations according to the recommended schedule.
  • Provide anticipatory guidance on nutrition, development, and behavior.
  • Monitor growth and development, identifying any potential delays or concerns.
  • Collaborate with parents and caregivers to develop personalized treatment plans and address their questions.
  • Manage chronic childhood conditions such as asthma, allergies, or ADHD.
  • Perform minor in-office procedures as needed.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest advancements in pediatrics through continuing education.
  • Collaborate effectively with nurses, medical assistants, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.

Qualifications:

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from an accredited medical school.
  • NY State License
  • NY State Medicaid Provider ID
  • Completion of a residency program in Pediatrics accredited by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME).
  • Board certification by the American Board of Pediatrics (ABP) or eligibility to obtain certification.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a pediatric practice setting (experience may vary depending on the specific needs of the practice).
  • Excellent clinical skills and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children, parents, and caregivers of all backgrounds.
  • Compassionate and empathetic demeanor, with a dedication to children's health and well-being.
  • Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills.
  • Proficient in electronic health records (EHR) is a plus.
