Community Medical and Dental Care Inc is Hiring a Dental Assistant Near Monsey, NY

A growing health center in Rockland County, NY is looking to hire a Dental Assistant for our fast paced dental department. We are looking for experienced and caring individuals who are available full-time.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Set up treatment/clinical area for patients
  • Obtain dental history and records from patients
  • Assist the clinician with procedures
  • Prepare materials for making impressions and restorations
  • Maintain inventory of dental instruments, equipment, and supplies
  • Assist with patient registration and provide patient education and treatment planning

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Knowledgeable on dental procedures, materials, and terminology
  • Basic front office knowledge (scheduling appointments, verifying insurances)
  • Quick and willing to learn, reliable and dependable, customer service oriented
  • 1 years of dental assisting experience
  • Experience with Dentrix software preferred
