Role Description:
This is a full-time on-site role for a Workforce Development Manager at CIDA in Queens, NY. This is managerial work in directing the planning, analysis, development, implementation and evaluation of workforce development programs for people with disabilities.
An employee in this job manages and directs staff engaged in workforce development programs and activities related to planning, fiscal support, grant acquisitioning and monitoring, training, employment initiatives and/or program performance assessment. Work involves providing consultation and guidance to supervisors regarding the assignment and monitoring of work and resolution of employment-related problems and issues. Work also involves interceding in the resolution of particularly difficult problems and providing consultation to executive staff regarding status and progress of projects and program activity. Work is reviewed by the Executive Director for timeliness, soundness of decision-making and adherence to established objectives and policies.
