COMMUNITY HUMAN SERVICES is Hiring a Grants Manager Near Monterey, CA

GRANTS MANAGER
Under general direction of the CEO, manages grants program to secure financial resources to support the Agency mission and programs.
Essential Duties:
· Research grant opportunities and assess grantors’ areas of interest for alignment with Agency mission and programs
· Plan and manage the annual grant calender/schedule and goals
· Write and submit private, public, community and corporate grant and contract proposals
· Prepare and submit grant reports to funders in coordination with Management Team
· Review and maintain up-to-date grant-specific documentation for the duration of the grant-cycle
· Oversee grant tracking processes and manage grant tracking system in Agency donor database, Bloomerang
· Represent Agency to grant funding sources and maintain positive relationships with grant funding sources
· Make presentations as needed
· Assist with special events
· Prepare Grant Report monthly and as needed
· Assist the CEO in preparing the development budget
· Collaborate with Philanthropy Manager, Communications Manager and CEO as member of the Development Team
· May require occasional evening and weekend work
Minimum Qualifications:
· Comprehensive knowledge and experience in grant writing
· Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills
· Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Publisher, Excel, Power Point and Teams
· Experience with CRM database such as Bloomerang
· Knowledge of mental health, substance abuse and homeless services desired
· Must be able to work independently, as well as collaboratively with Management Team, Board of Directors and other agencies
· Ideal candidate is creative and flexible, able to multi-task, and has strong interpersonal relationship skills
· Bachelor’s Degree in a related field and two years of development experience, or five years of development experience, preferably in grant writing
· Knowledge of local community resources
· Knowledge of mental health, substance abuse and homeless services
· Proficient computer skills and ability to learn technology
Salary $70,172 - $85,294/year D.O.E. Additional 5% if bilingual (E/S). Generous benefits package including medical, dental and vision coverage. EOE. www.chservices.org
