Community Horizons is assisting with the recruitment process of an In-Home caregiver for a community member on the east side of Green Bay, conveniently located off of University Ave near UWGB and the VA.

This position is assisting someone in their home with personal care, housekeeping, and companionship. A position that is not only REWARDING but FUN.

Schedule:
Days are Flexible 9-11 am , 2p-4p and 7p-9pm
*Flexible on the 2-hour timeframe; let's discuss your availability!

Pay:
$14.00 Hour starting wage

Tasks: In this role, you can expect but are not limited to the following tasks:

• Meal prep
• Toileting assistance
• Empty Cath Bag on each shift
• Range of motion exercises for mobility
• Assistance with transfers in/out of bed
• Be a great companion, visit, walk, etc...
• General household cleaning
• Daily personal cares
• Any additional tasks that are asked

The ideal person for this job is someone who:

• Caregiving experience preferred but willing to train the right candidate!
• Ability to follow directions
• Has a good sense of humor
• Shares interests in conversation and going for walks
• Must be comfortable working in a smoking environment

Who is Community Horizons

Community Horizons offers support for individuals enrolled in self-directed programs through Managed Care Organizations or IRIS (Include, Respect, I Self-Direct) throughout Wisconsin. Self-direction gives program participants the choice over who provides services and how they receive them. Community Horizons is not the employer on record, members make all hiring decisions with the involvement of a third-party fiscal agent responsible for payroll.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 4 – 16 per week

Schedule:

• Day shift
• Evening shift
• Rotating weekends

Experience:

• Caregiving: 1 year (Preferred)
