COMMUNITY HEALTHLINK is Hiring a Fee For Service Clinician CCBHC Increasing Access Near Leominster, MA

Community Healthlink (CHL) is looking for a fee for service(16 hrs/wk) Clinician in Leominster, MA.

The Certified Community Behavioral Health Center initiative within Community Healthlink is an agency-wide initiative to increase access to the full range of community behavioral health services and to improve the behavioral health and quality of life of the population of focus in Worcester and Leominster, MA through the certification of CHL as a CCBHC and the expansion of our community behavioral health clinic services that align with both CCBHC certification and the needs of our community.

The Clinician provides outpatient diagnostic evaluations and psychotherapeutic treatment services to children, adolescents, and adults in individual, family, couple, and group therapy; provides consultation and educational services to community groups and agencies in a manner which respects diversity.

Responsibilities

  • Complete initial comprehensive assessments, create initial treatment plans, provide therapeutic support through a transition to ongoing services, work with other members of central intake team to transition to ongoing services.
  • Provides direct clinical treatment to adults, children, and adolescents as represented in the caseload through:
  • diagnostic evaluations and screenings
  • crisis/emergency assessment and intervention
  • treatment planning and assessment
  • individual, group, couple and family therapy
  • Consults with area schools, doctors, individuals, and other social service agencies, insurance providers and hospital networks regarding clients, client services and case management.
  • Maintains client records and administrative records consistent with Center policy.
  • Attends administrative staff meetings as required.
  • Attends in-service education, clinical supervision and professional meetings as required
  • Maintains confidentiality
  • Maintains reliable, predictable, and regular attendance
  • Participates in interdisciplinary diagnostic treatment and planning conferences.
  • Perform other related job duties-ons within contractual and agency requirements
  • Respects diverse views and approaches, demonstrates Standards of Respect, and contributes to creating and maintaining an environment of professionalism, tolerance, civility and acceptance toward all employees, patients and visitors.

Qualifications

  • Grade 7: Clinician III: Masters degree in a clinical course of study in behavioral health (social work, psychology, marriage and family therapy, counseling or related field) that meet the academic requirements for independent licensure in psychology, social work, marriage and family therapy, or mental health counseling in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Requires licensure as LMHC, LCSW, LMFT, or is actively working towards licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
  • Grade 8: Clinician IV: Masters degree in a clinical course of study (social work, psychology, counseling or related field) and LICSW licensure or licensed Psychologist
  • Ability to perform diagnostic and risk assessments using current accepted tools and best practices to determine appropriate level of care
  • Can develop and implement treatment plans which are behaviorally oriented, measurable, and appropriate for the identified level of care
  • Able to effectively implement the P.A. and U.M. process and advocate for optimal client care
  • Clinical expertise specific to the target population with an ability to engage clients effectively and work with other professionals and organizations
  • Must have a current valid US-issued drivers license and a registered, inspected and insured automobile for work related purposes including transporting clients
  • Must be able to pass a CORI background check
