Community Healthcore is Hiring a Triage Registered Nurse | Texarkana Near Texarkana, TX
Education/licensureGraduated from an accredited school of nursing. Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Texas; Current CPR certification; Current valid driver's license in state of residence, proof of automobile liability insurance, and a driving record insurable by the center's insurance carrier.
Experience/KnowledgeDemonstrates knowledge of standards of nursing practice for Registered Nurses; Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN). Working knowledge of licensing standards for Crisis Stabilization Units. 1 year experience preferred in Nursing/Mental Health.
Physical/mental requirements that are bona fide occupational qualifications essential to the performance of the job: Ability to exercise self-control in potentially volatile situations; must respond quickly and effectively. Must be able to work and concentrate amidst distractions such as noise, conversations and foot traffic. Must be flexible and able to complete tasks assigned in a timely manner. Must be
able to stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, stand, walk, push, pull, lift, grasp and display accurate perception of objects (size, shape, temperature, texture).
Must be able to perceive detailed information through written and oral communication.
Position requires carrying of charts and assisting with patients (up to 50 lbs.). Must be able to verbalize information and respond to complaints. Must have minimum standard of visual acuity with or without correction that enables completion of tasks/duties and visual observation of patients. Must be able to attend meetings. Must have endurance to work an average 8-hour day - 12 hours may be required on isolated occasions.
Must be physically able to complete Satori Alternatives to Managing Aggression (SAMA), CPR, and First Aid.
