DIRECT HIRE OR INDEPENDENT CONTRACTOR
Jobscope: The Physical Therapist serves as a member of theInterdisciplinary Team responsible for the identification, assessment,planning, and delivery of services to address the promotion of Sensorimotorfunction through enhancement of musculoskeletal development, cardiopulmonarystatus, and effective environmental adaptation. Services to prevent,alleviate or compensate for movement dysfunction and related functionalproblems is provided through individual or group service settings. Reports to the ECI site Supervisor. Under the general supervision of theECI Program Director.
Education/licensure: A degree from an accreditedphysical therapy education program. Licensed as a physical therapist bythe Texas State Board of Physical Therapy Examiners.
Experience/Knowledge:
Aminimum of one-year experience in working with children with developmentaldelays is preferred.
Physical requirements that are bona fide occupationalqualifications essential to the performance of the job:
Mustbe able to transport clients, be able to complete activities necessary toperform services. This includes but is not limited to bending, lifting upto 44 pounds, carrying, crawling, and kneeling. Must be able to tolerateexcessive heat and cold. Must lift and transport equipment for transferand repair.
