Community Health System is Hiring an Operations Analyst - Hospital Based Programs (Hybrid) Near Franklin, TN

Summary:

The Operations Analyst role will be responsible for providing professional and administrative support to the Hospital Based Program (HBP) team and Providers across the operation. The HBP team manages contract providers, ER and Hospital Based programs. Primary responsibilities will include auditing payroll submissions to ensure accuracy, coordinating expenses, reimbursements, processing Continued Medical Education reimbursement based on contracts.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Review payroll reports, pull additional information from business partners, insure accuracy then coordinate with payroll and accounting for processing.
  • Coordination of expenses and reimbursements submitted to the department. Categorize accurately and provide feedback back to leadership on expense categories and/or outliers. Researching and tracking down answers related to expenses and reimbursements.
  • Receive Continued Medical Education receipts, validate cost and appropriateness, and convert form for processing based on W2 or 1099 provider.
  • Process other expenses, including travel reimbursements against contracts to confirm they are submitted in compliance with travel eligibility. After confirmation or resolution of all requirements, submit for approval and processing.
  • Assist with Labor Cost review within 1-2 days of payroll, coordination and analysis of other departmental information, other projects as assigned and more.

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent required
  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, accounting, or related field preferred.
  • Role requires strong problem-solving skills, ability to complete thorough and accurate analysis and mathematical aptitude.
  • Must be proficient in Excel
