We are looking for a Director of Women's Services to join our Clovis Community Medical Center team! In your role, you will oversee Labor & Delivery and Obstetrics. This will include overseeing our high-quality patient care in Labor & Delivery, High-Risk Antepartum, and the postpartum units. Through your clinical and operational leadership, excellent partnership with our private practice physicians, as well as a passion for mentorship, you will be integral to your team as you help more than 4,000 families grow each year!
Clovis Community Medical Center has been recognized by the Joint Commission for excellence achieving Perinatal Care Certification in 2017. Our recently expanded campus now has 352 all-private rooms, to meet the needs of our community. The Women and Newborn's Pavilion is home to the Future Generations Center with three designated floors for Perinatal and Newborn Care. This includes 16 Labor and Delivery rooms, an 11 bed Obstetrical Triage department, 3 designated operating suites, a 3 bed Post Anesthesia Care Unit and 40 private post partum rooms. Responsibilities:In your role, you will:
Assure that high quality nursing care is provided consistently throughout Women's and Newborn Services.
Develop and execute nursing objectives in support of organizational goals and division strategies.
Serve as a liaison with physician staff to develop strategic plans for providing patient care.
Collaborate with other divisions to direct hospital operations. Represent the nursing organization with management, committees and outside entities.
Recommend adjustments in nursing organization, staffing, systems and procedures. Establish standards for nursing education, performance and management.
Develop and control the annual budget for assigned areas
Qualifications:
Education

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, Business Administration or Healthcare Administration required

Experience

• 5 years of hospital nursing experience required
• 2 years of experience in a management role required

Licenses and Certifications

• RN - Current State of California Registered Nurse license required
