We are looking for Registered Nurses like you to join our Medical Cardiovascular Progressive Care unit at our downtown Fresno campus! In this unit, you'll have an incredible chance to collaborate with a tight-knit team while providing care for a diverse population of Cardiac patients with different medical comorbidities. With a high volume of admissions and discharges, your expertise as a knowledgeable problem solver with exceptional communication skills and meticulous attention to detail will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional patient care.
Community Regional Medical Center is the largest of our three main hospitals and the flagship hospital of the Central Valley. This academic-affiliated, Level I Trauma Center is located on a 58-acre campus in downtown Fresno. It features one of the largest and busiest emergency departments in California as well as a comprehensive burn center. Our hospital serves 2.5 million people within 9 counties, averaging a daily census of 660 patients.

That's why outside base compensation, we provide overtime after 8 hours, night and weekend pay differentials, and relocation bonuses if you are moving to our wonderful community.Responsibilities:Joining our largest inpatient unit, you will work with a team of dedicated professionals in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment. With 64 monitored beds and a patient ratio of 1:3 or 1:4 (depending on the acuity), you'll encounter a wide range of patients, including surgical, step-down, post-procedure and more. The advanced level of procedures and diverse cases we handle will provide you with countless opportunities to grow within our expanding system.
Qualifications:
Education
• Graduate of approved nursing program required
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred
Experience
• Consistent demonstration of Novice / Advance Beginner clinical nursing practice proficiency required
Licenses and Certifications
• RN - Current State of California Registered Nurse license required
• BLS - Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers by American Heart Association (AHA) required
Refer to the department's specific requirements, orientation skills checklists and competencies
Additional Certification Requirements
Adult Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification must be obtained within 1 year of hire or transfer into job
